Davrin couldn't help but be annoyed with Taash and Isabella for taking them to the Tavern and then challenging Rook to keep up with them.
"Oh, hey now be careful," said Davrin grabbing Rook by the hand and pulling him into him. "Dammit Taash." He mumbled under his breath. They knew damn well Rook was a lightweight. Rook looked up at him and put his hands on his shoulders before running them up his neck.
"Hey Griffon Daddy," Rook slurred and Davrin just rolled his eyes and shook his head but also couldn't help but laugh to himself.
"If you could see yourself right now."
"Why would I wanna see myself when I can see you?" Rook ran his somewhat cold hands up Davrin's neck and grabbed onto his ears. "Have I told you how much I love these?"
"No, not lately." Davrin felt Rook's feet sliding out from under him and hiked him up but not before Rook really got a grip on his ears. "Rook ow, can you just... hey now!"
"I'm sorry I just ... I just love them..." Rook suddenly started blubbering and Davrin twitched his head around to be out of his lovers grip. "I'm sorry Davrin... I didn't mean to hurt them... I didn't break them did I?"
"No Rook, you didn't break them."
"Well that's good. But what if I did... and they ended up looking like Assan's?" Davrin let out a sigh and looked down at Rook hiking him up again. "You know," Rook slurred again. "With one floppy one." Davrin couldn't help but laugh again he couldn't believe how far gone Rook really was.
"You're going to regret this so much tomorrow," he laughed.
"Oh my god Davrin the floppy one would be sooo cute."
"I'm going to take you to your room and make sure you don't swallow your own tongue tonight."
