Just a Drink. Or Ten.

It was amazing what a few bloody minutes of talking to Sherlock bloody Holmes could do to your overall attitude. What was the most amazing is how confused the man is when you get upset at him for calling you an idiot. Greg just exploded at him and left him there looking dumb founded. After five years of knowing and dealing with the man, you would think he'd be able to handle things a lot smoother. Today just wasn't a very good day on the whole; two new homicide cases, both of which most evidence was washed away in the torential downpour outside and the ex-wife was harassing him for some ridiculous reason or another. He needed a bloody drink.

That's where he found himself, at his usual pub having his usual drink. He was several dinks in by this point actually, and pleasently tingling, not quite drunk. The pub was mostly empty; it was him, two other blokes and the bartender who was doing that steriotypically bartender thing of washing out a glass with a cloth. He hunched over his drink, hoping he gave off the 'do not disturb' vibe, mostly due to the fact that he could not be hd responsible for decking out whoever was brave enough to approach him. He sighed and just silently drank, letting the days events wash over him.
