* welp, i think i’ve come to my end. being in this empty house has been tormenting. i’ve gone through most of my ketchup reserves and still no sign of pap.

Papyrus stood outside Sans' door. Cyprus had gone out to spend time with an alternate, and the taller skeleton had only just gotten home a little while ago from hanging out with the Book Club.
A lot had happened today, other than usual school shenanigans, he'd accidentally made Cyprus cry... and reminded him of Sans, and all that pain. Cyprus' Sans had died in his timeline and he missed him a lot. Papyrus knew of this, it was the topic he always did his very best to avoid talking about because he wasn't quite ready to hear about it. To talk about it... to hear himself ASK about it.
But this evening he'd started crying into a latte in front of his human friends, in the middle of a food court. It had been thoroughly embarrassing all around, and though he couldn't tell them what was really up (they wouldn't understand), they had tried to comfort him... tried to tell him to get more sleep, to eat better...
They were very good humans.
But as good as they were, Papyrus' heart didn't need good humans right now... He needed his brother. He hesitated at the door, bringing his hand up to lightly knock.
"SANS...? ARE YOU THERE?"
He tried his best to look happy, content, not at all bothered... though he mostly came across as looking tired.
"I WAS WONDERING IF YOU'D LIKE TO WATCH A MOVIE TOGETHER? WE... HAVEN'T SPENT AS MUCH TIME WITH EACH OTHER AS WE PROBABLY SHOULD BE."
OH MY GOD WHY IS THERE KETCHUP VOMIT EVERYWHERE?!?!?
SANS!!! I TOLD YOU TO STOP DRINKING KETCHUP!??!
NOW I HAVE TO CLEAN THIS!!!!
