Well, Drust finds them pitiful to say the least. Being a black dragon, he's not too familiar with things like family or clan, so he sees their usual sense of community as a clear sign of weakness and inferiority, making up with numbers for what they lack as individuals (which is: not being dragons).

Ironically, they can use their elemental breath, which Drust in his humanoid form cannot.
