Violence isn’t Always the Answer//closed w/drxcullen
It had been four months since Kaisa moved in with her aunt and it had been six months since she lost her father. In those six months she lost her only other parent, seen it happen, move out of state, been pulled out of the boarding school she'd gone to since middle school, started living with her Aunt and two cousins that she did not really get along with, and got into too many fights to count. In those fights she'd gone to the ER about twelve times. Each time her injuries worse. It had started out that her aunt brought her in because she thought someone broke her niece's nose and wanted to make sure she was okay.
This time Kaisa came in with worse injuries than she'd come in before. Her left arm seemed to look broken in multiple places, she had a black eye and the paramedics said that she might have a concussion. The blonde female didn't tell them what happened or even her name. She knew that if she told them her name they would call her aunt to come in and Kaisa did not want to deal with that again.
Each time she ended up in the ER she would just say that she got into a fight with some of the students after school on her walk home, but it never looked like she fought back. She quietly let a nurse clean her injuries as they she for a doctor to check her out. To Kaisa it was a little sad that she was learning the names of the people who normally worked in the ER but she'd been there too many times to not.
She gingerly curled into herself when the nurse walked away, taking care to not aggrivate what she knew was a broken arm. The girl did this almost every time, like she was trying to make herself smaller or even to comfort herself. With her good arm she had started to wipe at her eyes, trying to hide the fact that she was on the verge of tears.
