DryIce = Kai x Ice Emperor Zane

Named such because fire plus ice cannot really combine, however ice can be dry without needing to be hot. Dry ice is just overall more spooky, too, and dry ice has been known to be cold enough to the point of eliciting a “burning” sensation when handled without protection.

Smoking Blackberry Sage Margarita !

Ingredients:

2 ounces 100% agave silver tequila

1 ounce lemon juice

8 medium blackberries

5 leaves fresh sage

1 teaspoon maple syrup

1 dash orange bitters

Garnish (optional):

Dried sage leaves

Blackberries

Dry Ice

Instructions:

Muddle the blackberries and sage together in a cocktail shaker until broken down and fragrant.

Pour in the tequila, lemon juice, bitters, and maple syrup. Give it a good shake and pour over either a cube of dry ice (if using) or regular ice if using the dried sage leaf. If using the dried sage light the tip on fire right before serving.

Recipe Notes:

**IF USING DRY ICE: DO NOT drink the cocktail until it has completely dissolved

Dryice drabble, but with a ‘rivalry’ of sorts where Kai and vex go thru wacky hijinks to claim the spot as Zane’s right hand man. kai in a romantic way, vex in a not romantic way. vex just...wans to prove he’s better than Kai. and zane is just,,,a bit confused and disinterested in the whole thing, but will be mildy intrigued at times

Hmmm…forgive the format T-T I am just…not feelin it right now. :(

- So for Kai it is highkey to win Zane’s favor. He wants to impress his snowdrop with his amazingness, and if Vex shows himself for the annoying bastard he is…even better!

- Vex sees Kai as a distraction to the emperor. So he’s not so much gunning for favor so much as he is to discredit Kai and paint him as a ridiculous child that needs to be ignored.

- Unfortunately for him Kai is driven by Love and Passion™.

- Unfortunately for Kai Vex is, y’know, an Actual Adult and not a Chaotic Dumbass.

- Kai tends to do flashy things that are personally geared towards Zane - his favorite foods, his favorite activities.

- These things annoy Vex to no end, as he is clearly more valuable and competent -

Vex: I have expanded our empire vastly this day, having conquered and subjugated yet another group of villages!

Kai: Babe I found this amazing cold-weather flower. It matches your eyes.

Zane: It is a lovely flower, thank you Kai. You are dismissed, Vex.

Like in zane's vision, all of the ninja get frozen, except for kai. The ice emperor gets small memories of kai, one of which is remembering that they were in love and married. So instead of freezing him like the others, he corrupts him with his powers and makes him his queen. Kai doesn't remember the others nor wants to leave his emperors side; staying loyal to his love, ruling the never-realm together with him. Deep down kai still remembers who zane was before they came to the never-realm. His husband. He's not going to leave him again. A few years later(in ninjago it's probably been a few hours?) Kataru is able to escape, finding the frozen ninja along with his sis and somehow is able to free them. He tells them about what has happened during the past few years they were frozen. The others are more determined than ever to get zane back home and to also free kai from the corruption. Soon finding out that kai isn't completely mindless like the samurai's are.
