Summary - Edward and Charity are enjoying their time together in the morning, and the sun is out

Edward kissed his wife softly, she was truly everything he had never dreamt about and but everything he ever wanted. The sun shone on the captain and his wife, they were coming to their stop, to stack up on supplies, and the two of them had been enjoying the sunshine.

"I still think we could have had just a few more cuddles, if you ask me" Charity continued her argument they had been having that morning. She loved nothing more than just laying in his arms, she felt at her safest when she was in his arms. He was her everything.

"But then you argue if we do have those extra cuddles, you didn't get the chance to admire the sea" he chuckled, she was a strange girl at times, not that he didn't love that about her.

"But then I remember how much I love it when we are just together" she hums, she turned to her husband gazing up into his eyes, she had the most beautiful smile he had ever seen in his life.

"I see" He nods, she was definitely undecided when she wanted to be. Edward pressed his lips to hers, he played with her hair and as he pulled away, she let out a content sigh. She felt the sun in her eyes and she placed her hand above her eyes, to try and stop the sunshine from burning her eyes. He gently twisted them around so the sun was at the opposite angle.

"I do like the sun, and the fresh air a nice sunny day brings" she whispers and he smiles, it was very beautiful, he had to agree, he could feel the heat on his neck, it wasn't massively hot, but it was warm enough to be nice.

Charity rested her hand on his chest, even though he had his several layers of clothing, she could feel his heartbeat. She looked up at him and he gazed back down, her brown hair was slowly being lightened by the sun, it did that after a long time at sea.

"Ay, look at those two, enjoying the sunshine and each other" Charlie's voice brought the two of them out of their little moment and Charity turned to where her friend was. She was grinning at the husband and wife.

"I am sure as a husband, I am entitled to that time with my wife every now and then" Edward shot back, and he winked at his wife, keeping his arm around her.

Charlie threw her hands up in defence. "I was just saying, you two are looking kinda cute" Charlie smirked and winked at Charity who blushed furiously, both Edward and Charity were open about the love they have for each other but sometimes, it really did feel like her and her husband were the only ones on the ship.

Edward just raised an eyebrow, did she need anything or was she just there to be very difficult, and interrupt his time with his wife. "Do you need anything Charlie? Does anything require my attention?" Edward asks

"No," Charlie smirked.

Edward rolled his eyes. "Then please allow me to enjoy my time with my wife" he commanded and Charlie saluted him in mockery, winking to Charity before she went.

"Now, shall we just enjoy the sunshine" he asked his wife and Charity nodded, her lips met hers in a sweet kiss. And they continued to spend their time before they came to shore, together, just enjoying each other.
