The way Heartman and Dollman talk to each other suggests they have history. Heartman smiles at Sam but it fades immediately when he sees Dollman. He doesn’t say “Dollman? So good to see you” Instead he immediately jumps to an almost accusatory “It’s been a while…” and Dollman quickly deflects by asking if Heartman’s old heart is still ticking and Heartman looks away and laughs like “Fine. I was hoping we could talk about this but you clearly haven’t changed. I’ll be civil though” and I only just realized Heartman explains his exoskeleton to Dollman, not Sam, because he looks down at him while showing how he can flatline anywhere safely and only looks up at Sam to explain that he doesn’t even need a bed anymore.

If I didn’t know any better I’d think Dollman left Heartman at the altar. I joke but Heartman clearly feels abandoned by Dollman and I hope we get a lore dump about them.

It’s a mystery to me why the fandom never picked up on Heartman talking about intercorse “verbal or physical” and ran with it. There should be a million fanfictions where dirty talking makes him cum in his pants.

If I’m right about him having history with Dollman in some way and people start shipping them we might be forced to use dirty talking a lot more unless you want him to get creative with a puppet.
