“‘I shouldn’t get black’?” Chris echoes, looking from the department store suit on a hanger in his grip and then back at Leon with a confused furrow of the brow. People are into dark things, right? The formal stuff is black, right? That’s why they call it a “black tie event”, isn’t it?
Jeez. Chris thinks back to all the weddings he attended in a plain black suit and starts to feel sort of bad about it-- but then again, considering walking Nadia down the aisle is a big enough deal he’d asked Leon to help him find something nicer than his default suit, he supposes the guy’s got a point.
