The DSM-5-TR was released!
Changes:
Most changes were clarifications in the text, including “updated sections on associated features, prevalence, development and course, risk and prognostic factors, culture, diagnostic markers, suicide, and differential diagnosis”.
“Considerations of the impact of racism and discrimination on mental disorders integrated into the text” (uses “racialized” and “ethnoracial” instead of “racial”, got rid of the word “minorities”, reconsidered “prevalence data related to substance use disorders among Native American communities” & disproportionately high rates of diagnosing schizophrenia in Black people
one new diagnosis: prolonged grief disorder
updates to the gender dysphoria chapter: “desired gender” is now “experienced gender,” the term “cross-sex medical procedure” is now “gender-affirming medical procedure,” and the term “natal male”/“natal female” is now “individual assigned male/female at birth.” the whole chapter has been overhauled to include “culturally sensitive language”
the diagnostic codes were updated

The updates shouldn’t impact anyone’s current diagnoses, but they will impact insurance codes.
