I fear that I still love the dsmp and I still yap to my friends about it. Anyways I love you c!Tommy

Fences by the destroy boys always makes me think of the dsmp au hush now by @corpse-art

The lyric that stands out the most to me is

"I'm just a dog with no bite, This is all I've ever known" Tommy only really ever knew how to be a hero and being with dream. Then he's a 'dog with no bite part' is like how he's referred to as a dog throughout the story (of course) but he also can't use his powers(in the beginning) or can't use his powers effectively later on, because of how much he depended on dream. He was all bark and no bite because he had a reputation of being a dangerous opponent but could no longer back it up.

Then the lyrics "You took the sunshine from the days, Now I live in shadows" is like when his kicked out, and forced to hide pretty much. But also I find it fun to think about the sunshine being Wilbur when he's arrested, and Tommy having to work with the syndicate to get him and dream back.

"Cut you up like you did me"

"You did the damage and I feel the

Pain!" These could probably refer to physically and mentally, considering he goes through a lot of both. I tend to lean towards thinking about how Tommy gets the backlash of dreams actions, or lack of actions. Physically would be how he's constantly getting hurt from the people around him.

"I'm gonna forgive you, So I can breathe" I imagine Tommy would be pretty pissed at dream too, and needing to forgive him for ditching him to fend for himself. It could also be interpreted as Tommy not wanting to believe Sam is warden, and possibly wanting to forgive him??

"You've got no shame" Just schlatt.

Then lastly "Can't relax" "Head stuck in the ground. Hidden, will it ever be found?" It's like Tommy being hidden, but also not able to relax. Because hes constantly running from everyone but also needs to get to dream, and later to save Wilbur too. He really gets no breaks.

But yeah that's my rambling about songs and stuff. I would really recommend listening to it, it's a banger song! :D

I’m just gonna say this here & now, the difference between c!Dream & c!Wilbur is that to Dream, it’s a two player game while Wilbur’s is a solo match. There’s a reason Vilbur is represented by Solitare while Dream is represented by a game of Chess. Dream needs others for his manipulation and his antics, he goes controlling people and molding them into doing the work for him like how he got his hands on c!Ranboo, he hangs information and personal values over people’s heads like how he knew who the traitor was before anyone else, he knew about the revive book, he knew he’d be able to exile Tommy no matter what, he found out people’s closest attachment and hoarded them meanwhile Wilbur only needs himself. Wilbur has started form the very beginning, coaxing children into his drug cartel, making them child soldiers when he was the one taunting the enemy, putting a country into there grasp before taking it away and leaving a mess for everyone else.

Dream only started REALLY testing him lick & antagonizing the rest of the SMP by himself after Wilbur died and proved to be useless to Dream but now that he has the knowledge of the revive book what’s stopping him from bringing him back? But what’s to say Wilbur join him?
