...shackled reversed - Eclipse for Seraph
My muse has been chained up and left as a sacrifice to a deity or monster.
Send “shackled” to find them this way, or send “shackled reversed” for the opposite scenario to occur.
Routine, in and out.
These raids were everything; a way to get supplies until Zion's grow beds and self-sufficient weather system were able to support its growing population. They'd get there, if the notes of the late Dr. Ciel were to be believed, and certainly they were on the correct path to do so.
Seraph only ever gave one order to the rebels in his group, one that they'd been long since familiar with: Take only what you need. They weren't here to make the humans in Neo Arcadia to suffer either. That wouldn't change minds, paint them to be less of the villains that propaganda said they were. It wouldn't stop the accusations, no, but everyone had mouths to feed.
He clicks the last warp drive onto the fifty-third container, punching the signal on its screen to active. One by one, they fractal away, syncing with the transiever back at base. There's still another thirty train cars like the one they'd just pilfered, each with hundreds of containers filled with rations. Compared to what they'd taken, it was hardly a dent.
The Copy blinks at the ping blinking in the corner of his vision, an alert from his men. There's someone else here? They'd been quiet, efficient. No one should have been alerted, no one was supposed to have noticed. If Crimson or one of his siblings were alerted, there would be problems for sure.
I don't want conflict. The truce isn't over yet. Wasn't like they could stop stealing just because they weren't fighting against anymore, not when Neo hoarded its goods.
Buster armed, the reploid meets his group at the doorway, the seven of them muttering among themselves. Mira meets his eyes, and points just outside. He nods to her in thanks, and steps through. A frown meets the woman that Colbor has in cuffs.
"...Eclipse." Seraph can't help but feel disappointed. They're running on borrowed time. "Mind telling me why you're tailing us? Shouldn't you have gone back to your world?"
Cont. From Here @dsn-001
The tip of his boot kicks to the wall as a very small way of blocking her farther. He gives a deep exhale to spread smoke between them. Why does he do that? Enrichment. Or some other dumb reason of his. Could be to look cooler.
"Siblings?" Hoe voice rumbles in his throat. He pinches the cancer log to remove it from between his teeth for a second, giving it a tap with his pinkie away from her to knock loose any extra ash. At least he has the courtesy not to get any of that on her. The smell of smoke on the other hand will cling to places like her hair for a bit longer. The end of the smoke had bite marks in it from where he bit down. A permanent indent till its all dragged out. He quirks a brow eyeing her up and down and says,
"What? Are you under 24/7 supervision or something? You look like a big girl." His cigar is returned to its place between his teeth, the indent fitting perfectly in his molars.
"Relaaaax. You'll get back to them in one piece."
[for Verse i've written this same exact ask 4 times Tumblr PLEASE let me finish and send it]
One thousand paper cranes.
That is what is left for the Over one day, alongside a note.
'They say if you fold one thousand paper cranes, a wish of yours will come true.'
Knowing the person whose small hands painstakingly crafted each and every one of those cranes, it is easy to envision the pause she'd taken at this very point in her note while writing it.
'I wonder what you think that means? -月'
If my Muse was a Deity, what Offerings Would you Leave at Their Shrine? My muse will react to whatever items you leave for them
Once in a great while, the OVER felt as if he existed in a limbo of sorts. He had always known this was coming, that this well intentioned chaos would grace his home. That Moon would pour hours into this delicate project. He knew the exact amount of time it took for her to fold each crane just so...
....but he never knew when he'd see it.
The date and time did not escape him-- he had always known when. More than that, he could pinpoint the moment each paper began and ended its transformation. The thousands of little moments sacrificed to the careful placement of each papercraft bird. This encounter is meant to be occurring now. Will occur. Has occurred.
...but time does not move that way for him.
His "yesterday" is years from "Today", is years ago "Tomorrow". This was always coming, precisely at this time and date, but in that way it still feels like something of a surprise. He has been here, but hasn't.
Her note is beautifully written, simple, yet full of intention. He knows exactly how long she took to choose the paper. The easy way the ink flowed in the first half, her pause before the end. It's happening. Happened. Happens.
'I wonder what you think that means?' A wish: To want. To hope. To Yearn. Longing. Aspiring. Dreaming. A thousand synonyms for the same idea. Each word a different subtle flavor. All meaningless. So conceptually simple, so unreachable for someone like him. What is it to do any of these things, when you already know every possible outcome? Everything that is. Was. Will be. I wonder what it means at all. I wonder what you wished for-- are wishing for-- will wish for.
"Hi, Horn!" It's Moon! She falters slightly upon properly seeing what's attached to his head, though, red slowly rising to her cheeks as she stopped and stared.
"Y-you... you have -- um." Meekly, she twirled her finger around in front of her own forehead, gesturing to where the mistletoe would be hanging in front of Horn's own face. "There's... something."
@dsn-001
"GH-M-MISS MOON!?" All the times to cross paths, it had to be now. He didn't exactly anticipate running into anyone he knew and keep the mistletoe on as decoration. Damn it, Proton!
"Uh-that's just-it's something my brother put on me for the holidays!" That is the truth, though. Even then, it felt like a nasty excuse. He can feel his circuits heating up.
@dsn-001 The Almost GF. (They're still working up to it.)
"Horn!"
As the day slowly approached dusk, Horn would hear his name being called by a familiar voice, Moon waving and hurrying up to his side. She was beaming, practically buzzing with excitement as she placed her small hands on his arm in greeting.
"Are you busy right now? There's something I want to show you!"
@dsn-001
His antenna perk when he's called. Such a gentle and familiar voice puts a spark to his core, knowing who it is.
"Miss Moon!" He looks down to her on his arm. What has her buzzing like this? He's never seen her so excited. Then again, he hasn't spent much time with her. Regardless, it's a tad infectious, making him feel a little wiggly, too.
"No, I'm not doing anything at the moment. What is it?"
I crave.
