In 1901 William left his home country and traveled to United States. He refused to go when he had a chance when he was in his 20s, but now he was determined to make his dream come true. Not many people believed in magic on the East to say the least, and all of his future reading idols preformed in US. First shows was pretty unsuccesfull. Mind reading isn't as impressive looking as simple stage tricks when the audience is smart enough. One time, on his way to his brother's place he found a book in a burned house. It was old-looking, but not damaged. Most pages were blank, what previous owner wrote and drew, really made his show special. He could actually see peoples minds now, guess things they didnt even know about themselves in the first place. Jack started to get worries, especially when his twin started showing up less often. Last time he visited was on his nieces 6th birthday. Father of the girls woke up to bright light from the full moon shining on his face and sounds of his brother packing his stuff. Jack tried to stop him, but William wouldn't listen, he rushed out, talking something about a greater magican he saw in his dream. The girls are eight now, all the Carters know about William is what they can find in the newspaper from time to time.
