And that’s it! And boy am I kinda glad I had a headache Saturday and couldn’t do this because boy considering the story-juiced duology that we did last week this is... kinda a letdown?
Like don’t get me wrong it was a fun episode and definitely set up a lot of characterization for Donald and Scrooge especially. But it felt like we were in 2nd gear and then shifted back to 1st gear as far as the overall plot went. Especially with the kids all acting so goofballish.
On the plus side, the writers probably knew that Webby down-shifting at this point would seem weird so they kept her to a minimum. Honestly I forgot she was even here outside of two scenes.
Anyway there are 23 (24) episodes to this season so we might hit the 1/3rd mark here this week depending on if I do one of these on Saturday for once. Or maybe I should just give into doing them on my days off only and abandon the history of when I did Saturday Night Post-Work SUF Liveblogs.
