OK OK OK SO IT DEPENDS ON THE TIMELINE OF EVENTS

Cuz my idea for how Cambria came into being is she got separated from Dingo after he had an LV flare, and someone yoinked her when she was alone.

She doesn't remember Dingo or Robin the first time she meets them a few years later, but the more time she spends around him, the more she starts to realize this all feels AWFULLY familiar, and eventually she realizes that Dingo was her dad.

Lots of drama ensues, particularly about Cambria confronting her 'mom' about taking her.

But after all that's said and done, Cambria remembers and loves her papa.

Ok OK so basically what happens is kid Chrome grows up with Robin and Dingo, and when she's fourteen Dingo has an LV flare and almost kills Chrome. She goes through the Void to escape him, ending up in an AU she doesn't recognize, and a bunny monster named Viola finds her and patches her up. Instead of letting her go, though, Viola sedates her and takes her back to her lab to run some experiments on her.

'Some' turns into hundreds over the course of three years, most of which involve determination. Viola also uses magic to seal away Chrome's memories prior to her getting taken to the lab, taking on the role of her 'mother'. She's kinda similar to Mother Gothel.

At first the experiments were just to see how far Viola could push Chrome until she eventually broke and died, but after she used her newly acquired DT to come back, Viola decided to turn her into something more useful.

The ultimate end goal of the experiments was to turn Chrome into an obedient, deadly, and nearly unkillable weapon. Whatever Viola needed, whether it be DT, human souls, or other monsters, she wanted Cambria to be able to get, and come back alive.

Cambria slowly starts gaining memories back when things similar to what she experienced as Chrome happen, like events or meaningful phrases (like Dingo giving her food, him saying 'my puppy' or watching Robin be a dick). She feels extremely betrayed by Viola for turning her into something she never wanted to be, for forcing her to rely on killing others for their DT in order to survive, and for taking her away from her dad.

She hates looking in the mirror. It just reminds her of who she used to be and what she's turned into.
