Hi again! I just finished downloading chapters 90-100, last night and I happened to look at the time stamp on my list and you've recorded almost 32 and a half hours of this story! That's so much work! So I just wanted to drop by and say that you've done such a good job on it and I'm enjoying listening to it again today, and wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your work and celebrate with you a little because... 100 chapters!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank you!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT 😭♥️♥️♥️
Life has been a bit stressful recently but your message fills me with determination!! I am extremely grateful!
Also, I did not realise there was so much recorded already. That is a lot of fish drama!! haha Knowing the listening time really puts it into perspective.
Glad to hear you are having fun with this one! Just one more book to go!! 💪 (and so much silliness)
I absolutely ADORE your art for everything, but especially how you have Mu Tuanchi using sign language!! So sad the book didn’t go that way 😭 BUT there’s always this amazing art! 😍 but I was wondering, too, do you know (and like, lol) other danmei with disabled mcs?
Thank you! I can't say I was surprised by how that plotline wrapped up but I love the idea of Mu Tianchi getting to learn sign language so much more ;^; it will forever be my personal headcanon for the end of the series, they can't take it from me! As for other disabled danmei protags...
the first part of Thousand Autumns you have a MC who is grievously injured and spends a decent portion of the series slowly healing. He's initially fully blind, and then visually and physically impaired for quite a while after that. I liked how it was an on going challenge for him and not something immediately brushed aside as he heals.
The first book of Thrice Married to a Salted Fish has a MC who is terminally ill and has to deal with good and bad days, and the fact that he can't physically do things he would like to, or that if he tries it will have consequences for him. The other MC is his physician and man I got very emotional over the first book of this series.
(as for liking them... Thousand Autumns is fairly popular and I really liked the characters and relationship dynamics but I personally found the plot and pacing not quite to my taste. I did read the full series though, so it wasn't like I hated it or anything. I really liked the first book of MTSF and the second was pretty good, I fully intend to read the next book when it comes out. I didn't fall in love with either of them like I did DTBPF or the MXTX novels but both were a solid read)
I also have After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine on my shelf which is going to be my next read after I finish the first book of Misvil, though I can't tell you what the disability will look like in that series.
Those are the only ones that jump immediately to mind that I've read (or am queued to read) 🤔 though if anyone else knows of any please feel free to drop a rec!
Just finished the second book of the fishy mpreg danmei and so far I’m having a great time. The plot is a bit cliche so far (in terms of transmigration/reincarnation stories but that’s expected at this point, especially with Asian media LOL) The art is lovely and it’s very easy to read
