This was my submission for the Bel’s Fanfare dtiys contest! They initially were only going to have three winners, but decided to choose three additional winners, which I am honored to be one of!!!!!
Bel’s Fanfare has deep inspirational roots in classic Zelda games, so for this illustration I really wanted to lean into a Majora’s Mask tone. I really like how in N64 they’d use rainbow textures to represent colorful lighting in lieu of a complicated lighting engine, and I tried to emulate that effect! Also I put Bel in a jester costume cause I like jesters and I thought she’d look cute :0)
