I am joining #dtiys by @hundych_artist. This is not just a creative contest, but a great cause — promoting comics, the proceeds from which will go to help our defenders.

This is how I see this heroine: her eyes filled with weariness from the war, but her hands firmly holding both her ears of grain and her weapon. Red poppies and a bloodstained sickle — a reminder of the price we pay every day.

We cannot bring back those who have left us, but we must help those who are defending our skies right now.
