sorry if this comes off as weird i just don’t have anyone to talk to about this irl and it stunned me this morning. i’m in college to be a mortician/embalmer/funeral director, and i’ve loved egyptian mythology since childhood, especially anubis. yesterday i bought an anubis altar statue, and this morning when i lit him some incense as an offering, a random dog ran into my backyard. idk just a fun story maybe it’s him saying hi

He also loves Egyptian brass and/or gold jewelry on his altar. I have a brass Egyptian cuff my mother gifted me that I keep on his altar, and I wear a gold ankh to honor him (though I used to wear one made with Egyptian silver that was made in Egypt, he loved that one too)

Always always grateful to have Anubis with me on hard days. The morning started rough, but wearing the necklace of Him to work has helped me smile all the same and made the day that much more pleasant.
