Marvin => Cop, originally from Hoenn but lives in Dualum now. Also an Admin.

They all know each other and are good friends or a threesome but that’s just me.

Here's a random question, does Dualum have a fur/wool industry? Do native Dualmites (I think that's the term you use) have special permission to hunt/fish certain pokemon?

If we're going to mirror the actual world here, then some pokemon would actually be discouraged to be hunted because of international reasons. One thing that comes to mind is the seal hunting industry. Or rather, the lack there of, in Canada. (I could find an article but lazy, but from what I remember, basically there were people basically going all "WHY ARE YOU KILLING THE BABY SEALS YOU INHUMAN MONSTERS" and this basically made the inuits not hunt seals and basically there's even an overpopulation of them currently and this COUld have been a big source of income for them but oh well nope

I mean, I p sure other countries are even selling seal fatty oils or something, and the Canadians of the north can't???? Of course, this is unclear and I suggest to not be lazy and look it up because I don't trust my memory)

But, in all seriousness, I'd imagine that yes, the would have a big fur/wool industry. As well as possibly alternative energy systems to keep themselves warm during the winter. 

As for special permission for hunting and fishing, I think those are reserved to Native Dualumians only. Actually, in Canada, Native Americans have a something like...they don't have to pay as many taxes, because of some accord or something. AGAIN, I don't trust my memory on there, but since this doesn't have to reflect Canada 100%, I'm honestly thinking that Native Dualumians in general get special permits to own cassinos or fish or hunt or do other things that other Dualumians don't have.

It's not too much, but considering that they were there first...

So I've been trying to give the protags in Dualum Story dex holder titles because I think that would help me flesh out th details of the actual plot better (because I'd get a better grasp of how their personalities are like)

Looking at the bulbapedia page of the dex holder titles already used, I see that the idea of "charmer" is already taken (I AM OKAY WITH RUBY HAVING THAT TITLE OKAY), but ah...three holders hmmm...

It makes more sense in my head okay. (also this is probs gonna be the special skill of the main guy protag, since I have female protag as the one going for the 8 badges + champion title basically making her the main-main character)

I'm thinking a second title would be something like the "Adaptor" or something like that, basically saying that even under any condition she'll be able see all the angles of a situation and adapt to them, possibly saving her friends and pokemon or winning a battle or ye.

I need a title for asshole rival who pulls a Silver though. Or I could give him the title of Adaptor and try to think of another title for the girl main protag. (the cute female rival/best friend doesn't get a pokedex because it was STOLEN be asshole rival sobs)

I have no clue WHY I did this but I did it.

How the routes are split.

The top there, there are two parts to the Victory Road, which kinda are basically "underwater cave path" and "frozen area" yeah. And then there's a secret path you need an HM to get to. (You'll have this HM I mean you need it to even be up there).

I think I called it "Heat Needle", which basically melts large blocks of ice without making a mess yeah.

I might make info posts about the different areas/routes in the future, but aye.

Ghost Gym Leader and Native Dualumian with some Psychic powers including Telekinesis and actually being some kind of spirit whisperer or something I forget the term gdi

Frost Badge (like a frost flower a little????)

Void Badge (because making an interesting ghost-type badge is hard as heckie)

That is all hopefully I can push myself to work on the remaining gym leaders + E4 peeps or smth

How cold does it get in the winter up there?

Well, living in the southern areas (I'm talking about Ontario, in Canada's capital ye), this winter there were days that it got up to...-30 degrees Celcius.

I'm certain it gets even colder up north. 

In Dualum, it's like...uh...one sec.

It's very crude, but ye.

Basically, the more north ya go, the more you notice there's snow. And the E4 + northern-most area of the main landmass are always covered in snow. (It is Pokemon I am free to make eternally-snow-covered areas)

But yeah, basically people from Orre would freeze their butt off, let's just say. (AND THEN I START TO WONDER HOW ARTHUR SURVIVED LONG ENOUGH TO BE PART OF THE ELITE 4 FOR A TIME--I mean gazuntite.) ))
