Cold Smoke 2017
Dub Kartel are stoked on Winter. In their 4th year Cold Smoke 2017 is bringing the heat to The Marquee Ballroom & The Seahorse Tavern.
In an effort to bring the music scene back together, the boys from Dub Kartel asked their friends from all corners of the scene to throw the coolest party this winter. “We want people to come with an open mind, maybe see a couple bands they're familiar with, but get exposed to something else that they wouldn't have normally seen.” Charlie from Dub Kartel wrote me to explain the ideas behind the mid winter throwdown. “We also want to be as inclusive as we can, it can be intimidating to go to a certain shows sometimes. A lot of people might not go to a all Punk, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electronic or Indie rock show on their own because they aren't part of those scenes.”
