A (non-moany) work post.
Wednesdays have now been dubbed Cake Wednesday. I like this!!
Paul brought in some chocolate cupcakes and some carrot and walnut cupcakes. I had the chocolate one because walnuts suck. And I've never had a carrot cake before and didn't fancy trying. We had tea as well, so good.
Surprisingly, it was a pretty good night. We had Theo working instead of Hayley, who is a good replacement (if we can't have Hayley then he's one of the better ones who could be working). I did my stock check, which takes about half hour. Then after I went through the ordering with Paul. So I should be doing that from now on as well. He said it was good, because I kept commenting on what we had on the bar as well as what was in the spirit cupboard, i.e. we have 3 bottles of gin, but I just put a new one in upstairs so I'll have to take another one up later or we have 2 bottles of Cointreau but there's a full one upstairs. So yeah, it's good. Makes a difference from being on the bar.
It was busy for a Wednesday, which is good because it's boring if you just stand about. Clean up took a while, was done by about half 4. Then we hung out for a bit. Headed back to Ema's at about 7. Ended up staying there for AGES!! We apparently had a lot to talk about :p
Got back home at about half 10 or 11, then went to sleep. Then woke up and had a bath, got dressed, etc. That's pretty much it.
But as a Wednesday goes, it was a pretty good one.
