With Alexandra of Novgorod 's cloak done, it was time to go back to the tablet woven belt I had warped a while ago. So far, all of the tablet weaving I've done involved moving all of the tablets together. However, I really wanted to try out the Dublin dragon motif since it fits very well with the general dragon theme I have going for Alexandra 's Varangian kit. Given that it is my first time trying a pattern that involves moving cards individually, I made a horrible mess of the first few centimetres, and I got discouraged for a while. Until I discovered Twistedthreads's interactive weaving charts and finally figured out what the hell I was doing wrong. So now I can proudly present the first centimetres of Alexandra's belt.

I have to use the interactive weaving chart on twistedthreads for each row, otherwise I just don't know what to do next 😅

Now on to the sash to wear over the coat and which I will post soonish and the woolen over tunic.
