But I am very very thankful for the people on here who had my back, who are kind, who I interact with and for those who came into my im’s and sent nice messages and everything. I just am very grateful and will never be able to word how much all that meant to me especially at that moment. But yes I had a lot of people here for me and I wish I could thank them and let them know how grateful I am for them in more ways than just saying thank you <3

       will would 100 % love this puppy boy down because a) he knows what it’s like to pretend that he doesn’t like other boys ( still does it in front of his family too, but his friends know ), and b) he loves compliments and would shower him with them any chance he gets just to see that cute little blush, aaand c) he absolutely loves sports ok. his father has gotten him into all the teams since he could walk, but he actually likes it himself too, especially anything that involves a ball. they can hang out in the changing rooms after everyone is gone and sneak away from parties together to kiss in the car thanks.

                 ( inspired by this, a mix of happier and new man. )

                 Kyra always thought that the heartbreak people wrote about in movies, music and books was exaggerated. It couldn’t be real. People didn’t feel like that. And she never really had the kind of relationship, or even just the kind of crush, to be proven wrong. Until her last relationship. It had been the real thing, she knew that now that it was over. Her first true love; and a sappy part of her also feared that it would be her one and only true love. It was hard enough to try and get over that after an ugly break up -- the last thing she needed was to run into her ex again when she least expected it, when she just wasn’t prepared to be confronted with them.

                   What was even worse was to see the person she loved so much still, have somebody else cling to their arm the way she used to. It ripped her already broken heart into even tinier pieces. Although she usually never had any alcohol, she ultimately reached for a glass, unable to pull her eyes away from the couple talking to the host of tonight’s party. She knew it would be a bad idea to come. She should have expected them to be here as well. Her eyes followed the way their hands slowly let go of each other, and before she knew what was happening, she saw her ex moving her way. She wanted to turn around and run away -- but there was nowhere to go. Therefore she let go of a deep sigh, slowly turned back around and gathered all the bravery she could find to muster a smile. “Oh, hey. Hi. I didn’t know you’re coming.” What a great way to start a conversation, she thought and mentally face palmed. “Uh... how -- how are you?”

          Sometimes, Margot woke up and didn’t know where she was for a moment. It was one of the perks of traveling so much – thanks to exhaustion, her body forgot she had crossed boundaries while she slept, and when she woke up, there was a moment of disorientation. A moment in which she questioned the cool air in the tent, and the distant singing of birds. In which the faint sounds of water streaming by confused her, and she wasn’t sure if she heard a fire crackling, or whether that was just her imagination.

           When she sat up though, the tent was still real, and the smile on her lips was more genuine than it could ever be back home. Because this was where she felt at home the most. With mountains rising into the sky around her, and her favorite person in the entire world sitting by the fireplace and making sure their fire didn’t go out while orange and baby blue melted together in the sky.

             The air was fresh and crisp, and felt so different in her lungs it took her a moment to get used to it. She was wrapped up in a big hoodie, her toes sinking into the sand by the shore of the lake, as she quickly moved over to the fireplace, draping her arms around the other’s shoulders from behind. She leaned against the warm back, a poor attempt to warm herself up a little more as well, eyes scanning over the landscape around them. 

             Nature was fucking beautiful. And no matter how much she loved her computers and apps, this would always come first. She’d trade nothing in the world for this. Because this moment right here was pure perfection.

              “Hey,” she whispered softly, her voice still hoarse from sleeping. “Looks like we woke up in paradise, hm?”

          Tessa wasn’t entirely sure when she had decided that she wanted to share her favorite spot in the whole town with Ava. It was her secret, after all. Her safe place. Not even her brother knew about the roof top she liked to sit on and watch the sunset. But for some reason, it just felt right to do this. There was no question about the fact that she wanted to take Ava with her when she fled the reality that was her life. It happened quite often that Tessa felt suffocated. As if she wasn’t enough, or as if life was taking everything from her that was important to her. 

           But then life had also given her this. Life had given her Ava. And God, she looked absolutely beautiful with her dark hair dancing on the soft wind breeze, and the setting sun casting a soft pink light onto her features. There was a feeling in the pit of her stomach she couldn’t quite describe, as if there were a million ants crawling around inside of her, or as if she had to throw up of happiness any second. Maybe not the most romantic description, but it fit.

            Legs dangling from the edge of the rooftop, they watched the city go to sleep. Cars vanished from the streets. The last children laughs vanished into thin air. Lights behind windows were turned on, and the smell of cooking filled the air. But up here, nobody could see them. Shielded from curious eyes and judgmental glares, Tessa had dared to put her hand down next to Ava’s, their pinky fingers touching ever so slightly. It was enough to set her whole body on fire. 

            They didn’t say much, but that also wasn’t necessary. Tessa liked this, that she could be quiet with Ava when she wanted to be. 

              Again, she didn’t know when it happened. But at some point between the last sun rays clinging onto the sky, and the world around them turning pitch black, their fingers had entwined, sweaty palms pressing together. Tessa’s head was drawn towards Ava’s, and she held her breath when the tips of their noses touched.

              She listened to her heart beat – one, two, three, four, five times. Then she exhaled the breath she’d been holding, and leaned in to let her lips touch the other woman’s just slightly.

               Tessa pulled back before anything more could happen, cheeks burning and heart beating rapidly in her chest. She was scared. Scared of the aftermath of what she had done. But oh – at the same time, it felt as if someone had lit up a firework just for her.
