if i lived in the six duchies there would be a chivalry farseer poster in my bedroom and during his scandal i would be replying to every #bastard post on the twitter trending page with tears in my eyes like "OKAY BUT KING BOUNTY FATHERED A BASTARD AND NO ONE SEEMED TO CARE??" and after the abdication i would post getty images of chivalry every year on his birthday with the caption "we miss you chiv, i can't believe withywoods got so lucky!!! ❤️" and when he fell off his horse i would post a memorial essay on a multi-slide black screen instagram story and refuse to emerge from my room for three business days

thinking about my duchysona again. she scribes for fedwren (entrenched in bitter farseer stanwars with her fellow apprentices btw. scathing regal-anti rants keep showing up nailed to the wall of the servants stair, done in beautiful calligraphy.) she keeps subtly but insistently suggesting that her scribework would benefit from a trip to the withywoods estate. fedwren knows what’s up and has to repeatedly shut her down, to her severe disappointment. his best blue ink goes missing the next day. at home her father will sometimes make chivalry the abdicated jokes at the dinner table and she’ll run to her room crying. she is 14.

this is in reference to the post i just reblogged but. one thing that fitz doesn’t include in his narration is that the day chivalry died is colloquially known in buckkeep town as the bushpocalypse
