What's your favorite sound

I had to think about it for a minute.

At first I thought of rain, because when I'm stressed I imagine standing in cool rain with the drops falling down my skin. It centers me back in my body. Also, weird thing, I feel very alive taking walks in a drizzley rain shower. However, the noise of dripping drives me fucking batty nuts, and sometimes I get spooked by thunder.

Next I thought; brown noise? I sleep a million percent better with an air purifier or A/C unit blowing. But I don't necessarily like the sound.

Then it hit me. Something that never fails to make me smile, and I seek out whenever possible; the sounds of my dog's insides. Whether its her breathing, tummy noises, or heartbeat. I hold her up to my ear (she's like 7 pounds) and listen.

That's probably more words than needed, but I felt inspired lol
