Trying to get some good pictures of the duckers. Dot apparently thought it was hilarious that Dip was trying to eat my wrist strap. In the vein, of trying to see how many animals I can fail... 😭 I reached out and found a woman on Facebook with ducks and experience nursing sick animals. She's going to adopt them from me. I paralyzed myself just thinking that if - through my own ignorance - Dotty died... Dip would be inconsolable. People shame people for doing this with cats and dogs and I am not trying to shirk responsibility... just like I learned that week I dared have a dog: sometimes my animal experience doesn't translate. My personal motto has always been that an animal be better for having known me... I hope this works.
