You guys remember Scream Bean? The abandoned farm duckling that was imprinted on humans and then patagonian cavies? Well she's fully grown and hanging out with ducks now! She's the little brown girl in the pond back there. I swear every day she learns more duck things she can do like swimming and then bobbing and diving. I finally finished the roof on the duck run! They're now protected from hawks and such! Next up is finishing the anti-burrowing blocks around the base. Then I finish wrapping the run in mesh to stop snakes and weasels. Then I'll have time to do the fun part. The pond! I have a big one. They may not have a ton of time to swim in it before proper winter starts, but at least it will be all set up for spring. The coop itself got its insulation all installed and waterproofed for the winter too. Gotta protect those flappy duck feet! Apologies for the lack of animals in the pic.
