it's none of kitsunami's business, is what it is. and how'd he even find out about that, anyway?? no matter. "that is in the past," starline says, the words coming out more biting than dismissive. as a sort of distraction, he removes his glasses from his face to idly wipe the lenses off. "and that past doesn't matter."

it was before... well, it was before anything that matters. his own early, naïve idolization of dr eggman hadn't been the start of their problems but was the nail in the coffin their relationship was buried in. it was that stubborn duck's insistence on an annoying adherence to morality that had caused most of their issues.

starline would say he was the one who ended things, although he'd be hard-pressed to recall the specifics of how. no one would be wrong for assuming that he had ghosted.

                         ❝ –     ahyuk!                                          come on now !! ❞  the captain attempts to calm donald but couldn’t contain his own chuckles, he had tried to cover them with a gloved hand but ultimately failed.   the poor wizard was completely doused in blue paint ( a small accident had occurred ) with a few spatters of other colours here and there.   sora showed less restraint in his amusement.
