Monster Garry Ref Sheet
(All credit goes to you, Mangoshibi)
Backstory:
Garry was created in some unknown lab whose goal was to create genetically stronger soldiers. Garry didn’t turn out how they wanted but he was one of the very few surviving subjects who was able to change between 2 forms. However despite being created there they didn’t understand what they made nor knew how to take care of him and his health was rapidly declining.
Later Eyeless Jack found him, having been sent to inspect the place out. Upon seeing such a small innocent creature being treated so cruelly, his mission changed to a recuse mission to save him while the lab was mysteriously burnt to the ground.
However, despite EJ taking care of him he still wasn’t becoming any healthier than before. It wasn’t until the help of his boss Zalgo and more intensive care from Eyeless Jack did Garry finally became the happy little fuzz ball he is now.
What he is:
He is a sort of 2 in one morphing skeleton monster. By this I mean Garry is the soul or mind of the creature but the body is controlled by a hoard or group of tendrils that have their own mind but low intelligence so they didn’t know how to properly function. This is what the lab failed to see, thinking he was just one whole creature. Later Zalgo connected them to the heart so they can better communicate and work together as one.
His “main body” is his torso. Here his heart and hoard along with important organs are at. He starts out as a sort fuzzy crab with his rib cage being jointed to act as legs. He then gains more limbs by collecting the correct bones for it. He tends to start with gaining arms and hands first, then legs, then finally his neck and skull. The hole you see in his chest if actually where he breaths and talks from despite it seeming like it does thought his skull. He has no muscles but his hoard (which is a bunch of tendrils) act as the muscle to give him form and movement by holding onto all the skeleton pieces in the right place ( Eyeless Jack actually taught them how to be in correct formation to act better as muscles as before they where sloppy holding on to each other). His tail acts as a counter balance allowing him to be on all fours or on two. His fur/skin acts as the cover for everything. How you see him right now is his complete form where everything in his body is spread out evenly and effectively and he has his complete skeleton. He changes out any part of himself to either repair or adapt to his environment. His tendrils, aside from acting as the muscles, can also coat themselves with either acid for defense or a mucus-like substance that can heal and repair skin and bone. He can communicate normally but he can also speak in static which in doing so allows those like Eyeless Jack to hear both him and his hoard.
Personality:
Garry is a very very curious little thing. The moment something catches his attention he has to go after it. His curioisity makes him sort of brave and determined since he wants to figure out whatever the thing he’s after is. Otherwise he is a very loving and kind pup who always wants to play and make friends. He does get easily attached to those he sees as friends and can become extremely emotional about them.
Likes:
(He loves almost everything in existence but here are some specifics)
-Eyeless Jack.
-Chasing things like birds and butterflies.
-Exploring the forest since there’s always something new for him to find.
-Digging random holes.
-Being cuddled or pet. -This one particular tree that always seems to be in a different spot every time he finds it.
-Mangos and cucumbers.
-Finding new friends.
Dislikes: -Killing.
-Anything that reminds him of the lab. -Doctors and scientists. The only doctors he trust are Eyeless Jack and this one man from the lab that showed him kindness.
-Being away from EJ for too long.
-Anyone besides Eyeless Jack touching his chest hole.
-Although Garry speaks in static he’s actually really scared of it in his second form. It actually hurts him physically and reminds him of the speakers back in his room at the lab.
-Garry will practically DIE if he doesn’t receive his daily snuggles from Eyeless Jack.
Random Info:
-Garry eats whatever Eyeless Jack feeds him. He’s not at all a picky eater. He eats by tearing his food apart with his teeth and claws before melting it down with his tendril acid and absorbing it
-EJ makes sure to feed him plenty of fruits and veggies. Garry loves the crunchy ones. He prefers to eat the cucumber slices but he’d be more than happy to just rip through a mango. EJ has to clean him up though cause he gets the juices all over himself and gets sticky.
-Although Garry was created for the sole purpose to kill others thanks to Eyeless Jack rescuing him he doesn’t. The only time he kills is if he was chasing a bird or some other small creature and crunched down a little too hard and killed it. To which he’d bring the small thing over to Eyeless crying. That’s not to say he wouldn’t do it to defend himself or protect others however.
-If Garry likes you he doesn’t mind you touching him as he just loves being pet and cuddled. So he wouldn’t mind being put in cute clothes. Just keep your hands away from his chest hole. As previously stated only EJ can touch him there.
-He makes really weird noises when he’s spooked.
-While Garry doesn’t like killing, he doesn’t think much of Eyeless Jack’s killing habits since EJ tells Garry that the killings are just missions for his boss. For the most part Garry doesn’t join him in these missions. The only time he does is if the mission is going to take a couple of days and its not too dangerous. Garry might try to help him during it then.
UH...BRUCE...THAT'S THE SUN...READ IT STRICTLY LIKE THE FUNNY PAPERS, OK?
Sometimes I tell myself I’m emotionally mature but honestly I think I just might be emotionally detached from a lot of things so I don’t have to deal with them. Yikes as I type that out I’m realizing I might have a problem...?
I don’t know how this only has about 150,000 views but the person that edited and uploaded this must have done a lot of work to get this on point
