blehhhhhhhh finally got my room turned around! i need to add more decorations but it’s so much closer to how i want it!

i’m going for an ethel cain sorta vibe, so all my furniture is wood! (except for a few pieces i still need to move out) i’m also tryna keep it sorta teen-boy cabin esque too, but i don’t have many things to fulfill that…

hoping to add embroidery, maybe some fur coats, and definitely even more wood

i don’t think it’s cute enough to post now, but i’ll definitely be showing it off when i like it

today was really good. i woke up early naturally, and i studied for my placement exam(yes i procrastinated till the day-of), left earlier than i thought i needed to and made it there on time! even tho i was afraid i’d fail (bc everything i crammed i forgot) i passed!!! i made nice smalltalk with some ppl who also took the exam too! then i got some whole wheat bread to make myself a peanut butter sandwich! yummy!

theeeeennnnnn i did some chores. then i got to go swap clothes with a friend i havent seen in a while and i got some neat hoodies! then i brought a second friend clothes and icecream and we went to home depot together late at night!! had an awesome adventure explaining my strange project to a worker there, then paying in coins, then hitting groundpoppers with a bat in the parking lot while britney spears blasted!!

i truly believe the only thing that can cure me is to go to the forest and the woods but something terrifies me from asking my parents to. i was asked what i wanted for a grad present monthsss ago and thought it would be mean to say "to get away from you for 2 weeks and go travel far fucking away" and now idk how to plan it.

if i could afford to live alone, i feel like life would be simpler. it'd be a smaller space with just my shit to worry abt.

i think abt my future with a fantasy of moving further and further away from my parents, but i overheard them mentioning how afraid they were of retiring and getting old for fear of me not taking care of them. it just reminded me im prolly never getting away. at least it also reminded me at some point they wont have power over me.

i also have a fantasy of getting rid of all their things when they die.

i wish they weren't so old. i want to be free and young and all i've ever heard was funerals and trusts and retirements and wills and taking care of old people. they're giving me advice about death when i want to start living/
