In what is shaping up to be a full-blown civil war, forces loyal to Alassane Ouattara, the internationally recognized president, have taken the western town of Duekoue, which was previously held by Laurent Gbagbo, the incumbent refusing to accept internationally recognized election results.
Please do not let Japan and Libya overshadow this conflict. Terrible things are happening here.
