I know my Vesper falls into the "wanting to be just like her parents or even w o r s e/a little better" trope (because I like the "oh god so this is how it's like when we do it to others") but it would be interesting to give Durik a child that's not interested in any shenanigans and behaves in an almost opposite way instead (so much so that they think it got switched with duelette's child or something)

Likewise giving Duelette an insolent child could be interesting. Like they get anxious that they pampered it too much and that it's their fault that it became a nightmare to be around
