what do you think about your writing?
ha, oh boy, what DON’T i think about my writing ? that’s been my main issue with replying to things for about a week now. i really need to improve on a lot of stuff, mainly my typos & general structure i do. so, there’s that.
my writing is a shitshow, imo. i won’t go and like shit on myself when it’s from my perspective ( cause if i did, everything is SHIT and i am SHIT INCARNATE ). anyway, i don’t read a lot, so that reflects on my writing a lot of the time, i feel like. i think i’m repetitive, too dry; i tell more than i show, which is a crucial problem in my eyes. not that i want to be super purple prose, but i feel like i lack in terms of … flowery sentences or words. but, i guess clearly it isn’t HORRIBLE to other people if they can stomach it w/o looking at me like im talking in an ancient language nobody knows.
but, i like writing a lot, tho. paragraphs are my shit, i’m just super slow at it and have to reread everything like 5 times. i just ???? i have so many problems directed @ myself because it’s MY writing. i do like my writing sometimes. like, really like it. sometimes i’m proud of a reply i do cause there’s a few sentences that i’m just glad i thought of and other times im like ‘god why does anybody even bother with reading my shit’ so it’s like ????
on a shorter note: it’s my own writing so i dislike it and over analyze at times, like a lot of people, but i’m currently trying to improve my style.
