1931 Duesenberg J-495 Beverly Berline Body by Walter M. Murphy Co. – Pasadena, CA BUEHRIG BEVERLY BERLINE This Duesenberg J-495—with its sweeping lines and low roof line—is considered by many as the most beautiful close-bodied Duesenberg ever made. Built by Murphy, this Beverly Berline was designed by the great young designer, Gordon Buehrig. The body was built on the larger, 153.5-inch wheelbase and despite its large size, seats only two in the back seat. The instrumentation in the back seat, includes a radio, altimeter, speedometer, chronometer as well as a pull-out writing desk!
