Streets of Gold AU :: GR // MG.
It was just another day, another day of classes, work, and just another day of dealing with people she simply did not like. Letting out multiple groans that rippled throughout the air just before she packed up and left for the library. All she saw were friends and couples right before she entered through the doors of silence-- was she back in high school? This isn't what she wanted, school wasn't something Maggie ever anticipated to return to-- not even close. Only recently has she gotten her act together and even made peace with her father, it felt like years, but she promised.
As she scanned the crowded room she spotted an open seat beside a male Asian student, seemed to be a Junior in college, early to his mid-twenties; his unique attire had caught the females attention. Just as she sat herself comfortable next to the unknown man the brunette could already feel the tension between the two; curious hazel hues peeking over the text book he held tightly into his possession. A sly smile crept over the corner of her lips jut before she leaned over, mumbling under her own breath. "Didn't know you'd be the type to slack--" She let out a few snickers here and there, soon enough expecting a couple of people in the library telling her to quiet down.
She couldn't help herself, these kinds of guys had always seemed to entertain Maggie the most, not only to mess with-- but it seemed hard to believe, though she was fond with guys that were what people called 'nerdy or a geek'. Maggie saw the expression that filled across his features, her hand moving up to lay upon his forearm to keep him from leaving. "--I'm Maggie, did I scare you? Didn't mean to, just noticed you were readin' a comic there, mind tell me what it is?"
