Duke of Hammond Private Wake
Very early this morning, the royal family attended the Duke of Hammond’s wake at the Willow Creek Chapel. HRH Prince Philip arrived first with his wife and children. Prince Philip is the Duke’s twin and was in charge of organizing the wake in short notice. The Prince and HRH Princess Amelia are King David’s last children that are still alive.
HRH Prince Philip arriving to the chapel with his wife Lady Katherine Hammond, her daughter HRH Princess Elizabeth and her husband Mr. Jackson Reed, and his son the Earl of Willow Creek and his wife the Countess of Willow Creek.
Second to arrived was HRH Princess Amelia next to the Duke’s family: his wife the Duchess of Hammond, his eldest son the Earl of Hammond, and his youngest son the Viscount of Hammond. The Viscount and Viscountess of Willow Creek arrived with them as well.
Last but not least, HM King Henry and his family: the Duke of Willow Creek (who reacently retired from public life), HM Queen Sofia, HRH Crown Princess Margaret, HRH the Princess Royal and HRH Princess Alecsia.
The wake lasted a few hours and then the royal family headed to the Palace where breakfast is being serve for all the family. Usually, once the wake is over everyone goes back to their homes, but this time His Majesty wanted to have all his relatives together to mourn their beloved father, uncle, husband, and brother.
