♠ – ❛ hey @dulcedio, play your hand ! ( ♠ )
Introverted as she may be, nothing beats the atmosphere of a party.
In the honour of the positive response ( Somin had never anticipated how quickly the views had increased on their music video ) and as a premature congratulation for the new single ( it’s still in the works, but so far, so good ). Of course this wasn’t solely their doing. Like all — alright 'all' is a bit of a stretch but still, you get the jist — good ideas, the prospect of a party had been suggested by the company. DSP had begun to create this image of KARD, allowing them to live as adults rather than as solely rookies; they'd even given them a limousine to the hottest club in seoul , where they were lucky enough to perform in.
Thank god she didn’t need to prance around in princess dresses anymore.
Permanent fixture of a wide smile, giggles and chuckles slipping out every so often and yet there is no dull ache of facial muscles. A drink or two had left her with a slight buzz — it’s not enough to have too much of a outer effect on the idol, but she surely feels the benefit. Until recently Somin had never really experienced indulgences of adulthood. Focused on a single aim for so long and her general homebody nature had left her repeating each day like the last; now she’d finally debuted ( again, and hopefully for the final time ) it was as though she could finally start living a little less outside the practice room. It didn’t help that BM and Jiwoo thrived in large crowds — they were definite the extroverts and were often out socialising a lot more than her and Jseph — and that if they could, they’d make it into a group thing.
It’d be fun, they convinced her. They were right. Especially because it meant Somin could be in the presence of a dear friend.
Throwing an arm around the taller females shoulder, she laughs at her reaction and an acknowledgement of competition is elicited. “Yooooora, you’re too confident. You won’t win, but first! Toast!” Cup raised high, there is a twinkle in her eye which no darkness could dull. Whether it was because of the alcohol in her system, the spirited atmosphere or the surprising display of playfulness from Yoora — Somin didn’t care in the slightest. If anything, she suspected it to be a mixture of all factors. In a pitch just a tad higher than usual, the soft spoken idol rids all inhibitions as she relays her own toast. “To friendship, to good times and to beating you in this game!”
