I don't have one, it depends on the character/class/etc.

Charisma is a dump stat? No. Charisma is an op stat that makes a character like a bard extremely broken when used in conjunction with other stats. Let me explain because you don't understand what have awakened in me with this slander. Charisma is more than just charm. It's your confidence, pretty face, wit (intelligence), luck, and fine ass body (strength and stamina). You need strength and stamina back up your looks and persuasion. You need just enough intelligence to fool the masses.
I am going to one day find a group where I can RP a bard class with almost all charisma and enough stamina and strength to keep me from dying and have the rest go into agility luck and intelligence. And to top it all off, I'll give him the most annoyingly memed out name ever
DM: (pinching bridge of his nose) so you're giving your halfling bard a special Null Persuasion to pass any Persuasion Check rolls automatically and he's smart enough to cast level one spells but doesn't? *sigh* and what's their name again?
Me: (giggling) Blorbaeux from the far off land of ... Maishos
DM: *sighs loudly*
why is it called the dump stat if you don't dump everything into it
CHA as dump stat
