Dreams were a fickle thing with magical creatures; they could mean anything, or nothing at all. It wasn't so easy to discern sometimes. In Dahl's dream tonight, the wasteland that stretched out before him didn't hold anything promising, except a black slab of stone, far away in the distance.

Dahl was always a dreamer.

He dreamt nightmares often, beautiful dreams of intricate events, wild fantasies brought out in realistic manners. There wasn’t a night where he didn’t dream.

Dr. Gaisimmer was logical. Dreams were merely playback memories of events you encountered during your day prior, played back and recorded. Dreams are simply what you remember from that playback, and is what your brain deemed important to remember. The brain is odd though, and often jumbles the memories into twisted, completely different things.

But dreams were also difficult to separate from reality. They were their own reality once you were in one. So of course, the Fiaclan didn’t know he was dreaming. This was all too real.

Dahl glanced across the barren landscape, eyes trying to pinpoint any signs of life or city. But he seemed to be lost and alone, accompanied only by this… strange black slab.

An urge to investigate overcame him, and the dragon began walking towards the slab, squinting his eyes to try and study it even when he was so far away. He spread his wings and flapped them, taking a running start to fly towards the object.

Still can’t draw humans, but Dumplin’s doctor is a geriatric, impossibly old human- the only one she has ever shown any positive emotion two.  Here’s a picture of one of their check ups, perhaps when they found out the genders! Cute babies would make any grown woman cry.

Kurbi usually watches old cartoons on channel fourteen with her little sister. Today however, she stumbles across 4th is new channel! "Hey, Theo. Betcha five bucks this a Spanish soap opera." She snickered

"A gruesome topic, I know... But bear with me."

"No disturbing imagery shall follow this time, I'd like to keep my viewers, not repel them."

"We will discuss the psychological effects of such an experiment first, but we must learn the actual name of the scientist beforehand."

The TV let's out a burst of static and a MRI image of a human brain is displayed.

"Are you ready?... Let's begin..."

🍨 - Eating sweets. Does Tix have a favorite dessert or a go-to snack for whenever she's craving?

where do you get such awesome inspo for you dragons? I have dozens of ideas but no idea how to get them onto paper/tablet. any advice?

well a lot of my inspo comes from dreams just my imagination in general, also just nature too!! seeing how you could change things that are already existing in some way 

but for ideas i cant seem to actually  i find that it helps a lot if i keep drawing them out any way i can. theres a lot of ideas ive had that just cant seem to come out right and i have to repeat them over and over 

ALSO its important to know that nothing will ever come out as you envision it. because you cant really SEE things in your head, no matter how clearly you think you do, you always just know how something feels and it is exceedingly hard if not absolutely impossible to get an idea perfectly out of your head

its best to just take the key things you want to keep and draw it over and over chipping away at it until you get to something that feels close to your idea! this can take any amount of time too so dont worry if it takes months (some ideas need to develop over years even)

What kind of music do these two play? I am quite partial to swing music, but I like other types too!

Ace: Electroswing is totally my favorite! Spades isn’t too into it, so it’s awesome to meet someone else who might like it as much as I do!
