During the floods, Seo had kept to herself after the conversation with the vampire. She had laid on top of the library after the earth had opened, the place rather quiet while the basement had filled with people. She had spent the time thinking over the brief conversation, thinking over the past decade and how little she had learned of the people, mostly lingering in shadows, listening to people who smelled of something other than just human, feeding and leaving bodies behind her. In truth, she hadn't really been looking, she thought, she had survived and hoped that he would find her, hear of her. After finding the descnedants of her daughter... of herself, she had been sad and lost. But now, she thought that she might change this. And she had decided on obtaining one thing before reaching for the item she really needed.
Dressed in a red dress she had gone out of the city and to a club. She had met two men, cold smiles seemingly delighted in the dimmed lights of the place. One had been left behind, his taste still on her tongue. The other was driving now, mostly afraid and not because he wanted to. She kept speaking to him in a soothing, but cold tone. Stopping by the motel, she slowly made him walk with her toward the place she had found the previous nights. She knocked on the blue door, opening it as the sign on the door did say "Open". A gramophone was playing music in the background and thankfully there were no patrons at the hours that she had arrived. She walked through the foyer, her ears picking up the movements at the end of it. "Joh-eun jeonyeog-ieyo", she said her tone more chipper than it had been that day after Christmas, her body filled and her hunger sated. She moved her eyes away from the stranger whose hand she held in an iron grasp, to the vampire behind the desk.
