Duncan Feerguson replaced Moise Kean after just 18 minutes in the second half (Sky Sports)Duncan Ferguson has revealed that he substituted Moise Kean because he wanted to ‘kill a bit of time’ during Everton’s draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford. Kean was brought on for Bernard in the 71st minute but the striker was on the pitch for just 18 minutes as he was replaced by Oumar Niasse shortly before injury time. The 19-year-old, who was signed in a £27.5 million deal from Juventus in the summer, was visibly upset with the decision as he blanked Ferguson after leaving the pitch and headed straight towards the tunnel. But Ferguson insists the decision is ‘nothing personal’ towards Kean. ‘You know what, it wasn’t because of Moise Kean’s performance,’ Ferguson told Sky Sports after the match.
