Godly Man?!

The basic requirement, or perhaps the only requirement for a man to be a Godly man is for him to actually have a relationship with God. Just as we have met and made friends with others, we too will know without a shadow of a doubt if we have met and have an actual relationship with the living God. I am not referring to the idea of God or practicing and emulating behaviors perceived to be Godly, but actually acting out in such a way where there's no distrust that you will be held accountable for all your actions. Inwardly you are being directed by not your own desires, not to emply that this will cease. Its a state in which you have been freed and no longer are a slave of your carnal and limited desires. In this freedom you are able to choose whom you will follow, self or him whom dwells within?

Conviction is the heart of the matter. Do we have it in private? If so, this is the key. Your public composure cannot truly reveal the condition of your heart. Your personal evidence, answering the question if you are a Goldy man will be revealed in private.

This is not about someone else's will taking over yours. Its an epiphany in which your soul cries out; "thank you for your will in my life."
