I need to stop shaming myself over liking Paul Atreides. I see him as being a complex, morally grey character and I don't honestly need to give a 5-point essay on why I should be allowed to like him or how I can justify it. After all, there are tons of characters who are actual villains that I love unapologetically and the reasons that I will give people for liking them is, "They fuck shit up."
