There are multiple opportunities to show off your Halloween costume at Santa Fe College on Friday. You can even win a prize!

The Tyree Library is having a costume contest at the 2nd floor desk between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Stop by and have your picture taken and the photos will be posted to the library’s Facebook page. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.

Wear your costumes to Dunkoween! There will be halftime costume contests during both games at the Saints Tip-Off Classic doubleheader. Student Life (@SFstudentlife) will be giving away an Amazon Kindle Fire for the best costume at the @SantaFeSaints men’s game at 4 p.m. and the women’s game at 6 p.m. To win, students must register online beforehand at http://sfcollege.collegiatelink.net/form/start/53316.

And of course, there is trick-or-treating at the 20th annual Boo at the Zoo at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo from 3 - 7 p.m. (at Santa Fe College)

Plus, there will be a costume contest at half time of both games of the double header and TWO SF students in costume will win an Amazon Kindle Fire, courtesy of Student Life. #Dunkoween fever is infectious Santa Fe College men’s and women’s basketball seasons begin Friday, Oct. 31, with both teams’ season openers at the Saints Tip-off Classic beginning at 4 p.m. To get students and fans geared up, there will be two fun events leading up to game time. Friday, Oct. 31, fans can celebrate at Dunkoween before the Saints Tip-off Classic. The fun begins at 2 p.m. at the SF gym with an afternoon of tailgating and Halloween-themed entertainment. There will be free food, a costume contest, prizes and more. The costume contest winner will receive an Amazon Kindle, courtesy of SF Student Life. Then the fun moves indoors at 4 p.m. for the men’s basketball season opener, followed by the women’s season opener at 6 p.m. Game tickets are $6 for general admission, $3 for seniors and military, free for children 12 and under.
