"Ahem...I would ask of this K" only fair considering last week.
8. Eyelid Kiss
┌In a way she almost found it fun working along side her fellow champions. It meant that she wasn't alone as often, and at least in the case of Katarina she could walk straight home with her. Maybe he was just being worried, or maybe he noticed the sorrow on her face at the fact that the assassin wasn't there to take her home, but Darius actually was walking with her.
It was calm, even despite the early hours in the morning she felt completely at ease. It was always much more comfortable travelling with someone else! That was definitely something she'd confirmed now. A content smile graced the lips of the Maven of Strings, fingers lacing together behind her back. She was glad. There was no forced conversations, or awkward silence, it was enjoyable. Her shoulders shook a little as she let out a small giggle.
The closer they drew to the apartments the more she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Well, at least Katarina would be home. Stopping outside the front doors her gaze lifted to the building in front of her. For a long moment she just stood, staring. She could hear footsteps beginning to move away. Eyes turned to Darius as he started to leave. She should at least thank him properly for seeing her home. She stopped him with a slight touch on his arm. Bright smile on her lips before leaning in and pressing a light kiss to the lid of both eyes, both meaning to thank him and wish him a good night. Pulling back she gave a bright smile before quickly heading inside.┘
Got an interesting drabble related to Esdese on the blog. Might be a fun read for ya.
shame that ask can’t be reblogged, it was beautiful
" My subordinates are what keep this group afloat but fret not, I shall be the one who keeps everyone under my care. "
Death
Leave ‘death’ in my ask and I’ll write my muse’s reaction to being killed by yours.
┌It was hard to even focus. It may have been impossible to tell where the other champion stood if it hadn’t been for the soft sounds of movement. Eyes lifted to stare in his direction, a haze that came over her mind and vision making him too difficult to make out. The deep cuts that had been left through her body ignored as she smiled happily at him, almost as if happy that he didn’t look too hurt. Even if it had been a fight between the two of them, she really didn’t want to see him hurt.
She pushed herself to her feet only causing the blood to splatter against the ground more. She let out a cough before managing to get herself upright. The broken instrument that laid in pieces on the ground was no help as she struggled towards him. Each step leaving blood dripping from deep wounds. She didn’t even care as the blue fabric was stained.
When she had arrived in front of him, one of Sona’s hands came up weakly to support herself on shoulder. The other bloodied hand came up to his cheek, an airy breath escaped, obviously from the expression she seemed happy. Even with the pain, she’d managed to keep most of her tears in check. Her eyes continued to search is face for a long moment before allowing her forehead to press against his chest. He was alright as far as she could see.
After a few short shuddering breaths they came to a halt, her body went limp against his. Even in death the smile didn’t vanish.┘
