Had a dream that i was going back to reading dungeon meshi but the 4 of them suddenly showed up in my kitchen and started trying to make waffles. I remember laios would just be staring at the wafflemaker doing nothing and watching it burn and i was like "laios nooo"

sepurate post but dungeon meshi is basically a fantasy manga abt an adventuring party (laios, marcille, chilchack, senshi, and later izutsumi) who journey thru this dungeon at first to save laios sister, farlyn, who was eaten by a dragon but later one their motivation is to defeat the mad sorcerer who created the dungeon. also theres like a side theme of food cos at the start of the series laios party doesn’t have any money or food, so when they meet senshi he teaches them how to cook and eat monsters, + each chapter is named after a different dish.

the art style is really nice and pretty, and also theres like, barely any sameface lmao.

also like, i hate how a lot of fantasy-type mangas always like switch from a lighter tone to like a really dark one u kno it just gets annoying but in dunmes its really balanced like its very lighthearted w some intense parts mixed it. overall its really good go fucking read it
