So the last three evenings, my brother and I have been having a competition: "Who said this quote in Dungeon Meshi". Basically, each turn, we say one quote from the manga and if we are unable to identify who said it, the other person gets a point. We are currently tied 18-18 , however only ~60% of our quotes get guessed.

A few of the highlights have been:

Me correctly identifying that "You are in the presence of the king! Get down this instant!" was said by the unnamed woman with the broomstick in the living pictures chapter

Me correctly identifying that "The boy's in the firepit" was said by Toshitsugu, Shuro's father

My brother identifying that "That's the entrance" (with a bit of context) was said by Cithis

My brother correctly identifying that "It's actually nothing to sneeze at" was said by Chilchuck

My brother also got "You can't hear a heartbeat through armour!"which was said by Chilchuck

He also got "You talk big, but can you back it up? If you want a fight, bring it.". This was said by Flamela

My brother also got that "Tch! The short lived races are always so-" was said by Flamela.

I am predictable

Some quotes I got wrong (I crashed out):

"I mustn't let him eat that" was thought by Sissel

"It would be pretty dangerous if we ran into a monster right now." was said by Chilchuck. I was very disappointed that I got it wrong. I thought it was Laios. 😔😔
