As of next month we will have had this doofus for a whole year. He has come such a very long way from the scrawny and timid puppy that instantly claimed our hearts. He is Jakob's best friend, Neil's faithful shadow, and I'm still so incredibly grateful for all the people who helped us bring him home last year. 4 Months of tlc has turned a scrawny puppy who didn't want to play with toys, was constantly afraid, but just really wanted to love people, into a shiny coated, happy, playful, almost 10 month old puppy who looks so different. He is about 46lbs now, he was only 20lbs when we got him. He wouldn't eat hardly anything when he first came home, now if his dish is empty I am pestered until it is refilled. He wouldn't play with anything, the rescue said he didn't like dog toys; now he will chase just about anything, loves to catch things, & he has a small collection of toys that he will play with whenever he isn't sleeping. #dunncanpuppy #rescuedog #couchcuddlescausehewasgoodtoday
