Mini Review: #impulsecosmetics swatches of liquid lipsticks that I own. Apocalytic is a beautiful single swipe full coverage black that I can't get enough of. Takes a few lip smacks to gain a low sheen appearance but isn't sticky or patchy. Poe is more of a metallic blackened navy slightly lighter than seen on the site. If wanting darker, line with Apocalyptic for that true blue-black of a raven's wing. Auror is descibed as a midtone blue with red duochrome but appears to be a lovely lilac with some pizzaz. The more you rub your lips, the more of the duochrome appears. 0.33oz of beauty that'll show up on deeper complexions for $11? Yes please! Warning, these are pigmented so they might stain the lips but they wear weightlessly and aren't horribly drying. As for the dry down time, these won't dry super quickly but will last through eating, drinking and has a little glittery transference when smooching. ;) Overall if you're a PoC looking for an opaque, non patchy, nondrying liquid lipstick, give Impulse Cosmetics a gander.
